Overview
We are currently looking for experienced software engineers/architects/tech leads with solid
experience developing web applications. We're looking for world-class, fun-loving engineers to

Responsibilities
1. Designing, implementing, testing and deploying a scalable web platform
2. Designing, maintaining, and implementing MySQL based middle-tier architecture
3. Improving existing MySQL database schemas/tables/indices for optimal use
4. Scaling PHP applications, scaling large databases
5. Resolving any application issues/bugs that may arise due to architectural or configuration
issues across the various layers
6. Hard working and flexibility to put in the extra hours required to meet tight deadlines
Experience
1. 5+ years experience and a strong passion for building business to consumer web-based
services
2. Strong experience developing in PHP or C++ or Java. PHP preferred.
3. Strong experience developing applications based on the LAMP stack architecture, XML,
HTTP, REST, Javascript, CSS, and other web standards
4. Strong experience designing, implementing, optimizing and maintaining databases
(preferably MySQL). Solid competency with SQL (ideally in a federated database
environment, MySQL a plus)
5. Strong *nix experience (Linux, Ubuntu, Redhat)
6. Experience developing scalable transactional systems
7. Experience with caching technologies (SQUID, Memcache a plus)
8. Strong writing and communication skills
9. Ability to write proper and pertinent documentation
10. Ability to explain and articulate difficult technical issues
11. Friendly and team-oriented
