Overview
MakerBot is looking for a software engineer with experience programming in C, C++, or Python. The right person is a strong team player and is used to working with tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
Design and develop software for 3D printing products.
Experience
2+ years developing embedded applications in a professional environment
Linux programming experience
Tight deadline and delivery experience
Experience with embedded programming and/or robotics​
Familiarity with MakerBot or 3-D printing
Skills
Outstanding communication skills and ability to interact with a wide range of users
Professional C, C++, or Python experience
Excellent teamwork, accountability, and attention to detail
The candidate must live in the New York City metropolitan area and work on site. Relocation will not be available for this position. In addition, the candidate must be completely available to work in the US. No visa assistance or visa processing will be provided.
Education
Degree in computer science or comparable
