Responsibilities
Design and implement REST API to power Peloton Web and Android applications
Work within an agile development environment with peer engineers on a daily basis to scope, develop and deliver a software experience that realizes the product strategy
Make unique software with a great team dedicated to disrupting a category
Experience
Passion for building consumer-facing products
Must be a proficient programmer, devoting at least 75% of time working hands-on, writing code in their current position
[bonus] Experience with large scale consumer facing products and distributed systems a plus
[bonus] Experience with streaming video platforms (e.g. RTP/RTSP) a plus
[bonus] Working knowledge of Python a plus
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent years of work experience
Skills
Excellent programming skills -- experience with Python, Javascript, Java, a plus
The ability to execute ambitious, yet achievable goals – effectively prioritizing them, clearly communicating them, and taking full accountability on the path to achieving them
Ability to survive a 45 minute spin class!
