Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, articulate, and talented senior engineer to lead an exceptional team of developers at our well-funded, early stage startup.
Responsibilities
Write exceptional code - STRONG preference for people who excel in Ruby or Python
Lead a team of at least 4 engineers
Work closely with the management team to define and drive technical strategy and architectural direction
Adapt and drive best practices to improve engineering efficiency
Execute on a product roadmap and deliver results
Experience
At least 2-3+ years of experience, with some portion of that time leading technical teams (this is a great position for a senior engineer looking to quickly step up to a director position)
If, for example, you have more than 7-10 years of experience and don't actively code, this is not the position for you
Skills
Actively codes brilliantly
Can be a product manager who delivers results
Isn't afraid to make strategic, informed decisions guiding how we build out our tech stack
Is excited about joining an energetic, early stage startup environment
An interest or skill in infrastructure and operations is a bonus
Education
We know brilliant people can come from anywhere, with all sorts of degrees. A MS is a nice credential, but not a must-have
