Overview
We’re looking for a capable, driven Senior Systems Administrator that will join the team building and maintaining the information infrastructure that makes MakerBot Industries possible. Candidates should be influential, motivated and pragmatic administrators of both Linux and Windows environments. We love people who love to make things, so tell us about what you’ve made.
Responsibilities
Build and manage a critical infrastructure team
Manage 100+ desktop support of a growing company spread across several locations
Design our software and services support architecture
Design our network infrastructure across several locations
Design our monitoring and high-availability systems
Support our virtualized and cloud-based environments
Experience
Management experience in a fast paced and agile workplace
Skills
Expert large volume desktop support and directory management
Expert systems administration skills in both Linux and Windows environments
Expert level Bash and Windows scripting
Cisco configuration experience
Perl, PHP, Python and/or Ruby skills
Ability to manage and scale high availability environments
Cloud and virtualization experience
Fanatical attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
