Senior Web Developer

We are a VC funded startup looking for an experienced web developer who has extensive knowledge of software design, front-end design, scaling web applications, and the right coding skills to lead the development efforts on version one of our core product. This position is responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing care of the company's core product.
Building, testing and continually refining our core product and its associated services.
Developing an infrastructure that will eventually be able to expand to a point where we can serve millions of page views.
Creating high fidelity prototypes that can easily be turned into working products.
At least 3-5 years of experience designing and developing web applications.
Extensive experience working with languages used for developing web apps, namely PHP.
Experience with the ZEND framework.
Experience with database technologies, namely MySQL.
Experience with front-end development experience with (X)HTML, CSS, Javascript (including JQuery)/AJAX.
Experience with cross browser development (i.e. creating coded designs for Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.).
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Experience taking wireframes and turning these, step-by-step, into mockups and then coded designs.
Experience with usability standards, information architecture, site flow.
Experience with version control systems like Subversion.
Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to work either independently or within a team environment.
Familiarity with caching models using Memcached would be a huge PLUS!!!
