Overview
As a Veson Nautical Senior Web Developer, you will help drive each release of our Veslink service, a successful and growing SaaS product in use by top shipping professionals worldwide. You will participate in development processes and planning, and use your technical expertise to conduct code reviews and contribute directly to the programming effort. As a key member of the Veson Nautical team, your technical insights will contribute to our architectural vision and ensure that the product is built to scale with increased demand.

Skills
5+ years’ experience in developing great software
Exceptional coding and design skills, proficiency in ASP.NET MVC with C#, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and SQL.
Experienced with web technologies (HTML, AJAX, JSON, XML, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to ensure the product represents the evolving business strategy
Strong analytical abilities, with the ability to translate high-level business needs into programmable specs
Personable, passionate about coding and able to quickly establish credibility with smart developers
Proactive, positive approach to work
Highly organized, reliable and diligent
Hands-on knowledge of development methodologies and code management systems
Ability and eagerness to learn new languages and business environments quickly and effectively
A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and Object-Oriented Software Design
