Senior Web Engineer

We want a web engineer that is serious about building great Facebook and mobile games. Someone that understands how to craft a quality product and that knows how to get it done. You have a passion for games and gaming, and are comfortable discussing their complex intricacies with your teammates to drive innovation and creativity.

Responsibilities
We are looking for a web developer to build, maintain, and optimize backends for Facebook and mobile games.
Heavy collaboration with art, production, and business in particular, with a diverse day-to-day determined by the game’s needs.
Must care about making both a good and successful game.
A keen eye for detail, passion for your work, and love of games are all prerequisites.
Experience
4+ years in Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP development.
Knowledge of server administration within AWS, Pagoda Box, or a similar PAAS provider.
Familiarity with standard web front end technologies -- HTML, Javascript, CSS.
Experience with optimizing infrastructure and scaling beyond a single server. You should be familiar with load balancing strategies, memcache, and splitting database traffic across a cluster of servers.
Agile software development experience
jQuery and Backbone.js experience
Facebook API experience
Analytics experience
Knowledge of Unity, Phonegap, iOS, and Android platforms are a major plus
