As Web Designer, you will have a range of responsibilities, and will need to be open-minded, flexible and willing to work across various areas of design and support the company's creative output. You will have significant experience of many creative areas besides digital, including print, marketing collateral, ideally motion / 3D design, perhaps even idea / designs for new products.
Work closely with Marketing and Web Content Team to design emails, content pages and features that inspire and drive sales.
Drive the evolution of the web look-and-feel with an appreciation of keeping the handwriting consistent throughout.
Continuously evaluate the website from a design and technical perspective to maximise sales and engagement.
Regularly update the website with features/ homepage/ category pages with inspirational designs plus a focus on usability.
Develop and manage the Assistant Web Designer to provide a seamless store and web design handwriting.
§ Mastery of the principals of design, color theory, and graphics file creation optimized for the web.
§ Degree in Design or HCI preferred Retail and eCommerce design experience
§ Proficiency with web standards and accessibility compliance
Collaborate with senior designers as well as usability, development, and business teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, on-brand graphic solutions to build a superior customer experience.
Produce sketches, graphics, templates, layouts, themes, typography, and visual standards for merchandising or promotion throughout the retail web process.
Provide and manage design documentation, style guides, and specifications.
Proactively manage time and deadlines.
§ Relevant experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or information architect
§ Bachelor’s Degree required
§ Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, MS Office, HTML, and CSS required
§ Must have online portfolio
§ Authorized to work in the US
