Overview
MIT-startup seeks a talented Web App Developer for short-term (2-3months) contract work, possibly leading to a full-time engagement. We are a small team of developers and scientists building an exciting new platform from the ground up. Our company was the recipient of a cash prize in the Genera_MX 2010 entrepreneurship competition and we have been approached by a couple of businesses and organizations that want to start using our system ASAP.

Ideal candidates should be a sensei in modern front-end and back-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, PHP/Python, and MySQL. Experience with Google's Visualization and Maps APIs definitely a plus. Advanced artistic skills are not required, but candidates should have a good eye for aesthetic design.

Candidates must be willing to work on a fast-paced, startup environment. We require quick learners and super-efficient coders. Additionally, they must be able to work on-site at our Cambridge office for at least the next two months. Hourly compensation will be defined based on skills and experience. We will also consider equity compensation for the right candidate. We offer flexible hours and an unlimited supply of energy drinks. We need you to get started ASAP.
