Social Media & B2B Promotion Manager

We are looking for an energetic, creative self-starter who’s passionate about social media, online communities, media relations and has demonstrated success in growing online communities, to lead the company’s efforts to increase brand awareness, identity and direct website traffic to Proformative. The successful Social Media Manager will combine relationship building and marketing savvy to develop and implement strategies that grow our user base and our website traffic.

You will be responsible for executing viral social campaigns, building relationships with bloggers and influencers to ensure media coverage, working with established, complimentary online communities, and using all other “social media” means at your disposal to build our user base and drive traffic.

Develop and implement the Community and Social Media vision, strategy and roadmap
End-to-end management of social media platforms: Facebook, Google +, Twitter and others. Manage existing, create new when necessary, and grow social media accounts, pages and groups
Moderate and optimize daily social media and blog posts, and promotions
Create exclusive, engaging content to post, as well as share with blogs and content networks
Identify and build relationships with key bloggers, influencers and other contributors
Stay on the cutting-edge of social spaces and social media monitoring tools, trends/changes and best practices, and make recommendations to improve against benchmarks
Analyze and present weekly performance metrics to derive actionable insights, including social media and community growth, and competitive research
Follow editorial calendars of industry publications, seek and create media opportunities and partnerships
Follow event calendars of industry associations and event publishers, seek and create speaking engagements and partnerships
Build relationships with bloggers, reporters, freelance journalists, editors
Create B2B incentive and loyalty programs, attract partners for cross-promotion and co-branding
Provide creative art direction for campaign-specific micro-sites
Work closely with content team
Design strategies to increase engagement of social audiences
Measure social conversations and their performance / effect on lead generation
Write and pitch press releases with new Proformative experts, sponsors and other partners
Write customer evidence documents, such as case studies, testimonials, white papers, and share them via social channels
Strong decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint;
Works well independently and within a team environment
• 3+ years of b2b, social media and hands-on community management expertise;
• Experience in writing content for corporate marketing as well as finance executives;
• Proven execution of strategies to build and grow communities, creating viral content, media; relationships, monitoring metrics and ROI of social campaigns;
• Comprehensive knowledge of popular social platforms (Facebook, Google +, Twitter, etc.), publishing tools (HootSuite, etc.), and blog technologies (WordPress, etc.), social media monitoring tools and resources;
• Experience working with analytics packages (Google Analytics, etc.);
