Social Media Community Manager

Overview
Become part of one of the fastest growing internet retailers in the United States. Diapers.com, a Quidsi company is seeking an exceptionally talented Social Media Community Manager. This is a unique and exciting role that will directly report to the VP of Marketing.
Responsibilities
The Social Media Community Manager will be responsible for all social media efforts, from strategy and planning, to implementation and analysis. The successful candidate will be a committed power user of social media communities and tools, with a solid understanding of how to drive consumer engagement within online social networks, and a strong interest in web technology and the Web 2.0 space. This position has lots of growth potential.
Responsibilities will include:
Develop social media strategy and content aligned with the brand and business goals
Post content and be highly responsive to comments and feedback, extending service commitment to social media outlets
Support mobile and social commerce initiatives and application development
Manage corporate blog and any guest bloggers
Conduct outreach and build relationships with top bloggers and local community groups
Monitor dialogue and feedback in social media outlets, synthesize, and make recommendations for action
Build and manage metrics reporting and analysis
Experience
The right candidate will thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-changing, and collaborative environment where people are driven, enthusiastic, and not afraid to take risks. Qualifications must include:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required
3+ years experience in social media, and demonstrated passion for the social media space
Strong consumer insight and commitment to exceptional customer service
Ability to emotionally connect with customers orally and in writing
Outstanding attention to detail
Team player who is willing to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done. Retail/Ecommerce experience preferred.
