Surfmark, Inc. is looking for ambitious, outgoing students who are interested in innovative technology to design and execute marketing campaigns focused on the student community.
This is an unpaid internship; however, interns will benefit from strong mentorship and professional guidance from the founders: Tuck (Dartmouth) and Wharton graduates, as well as real-world experience in the entrepreneurial/technology startup world. Incentive Bonuses and equity compensation will be considered.
Our various functions need someone who wants to expand on what they are learning in school, and who wants to apply that knowledge in the working world. We are looking for someone to work during the school year, over spring break, or over summer break - let us know what works for you.
Assist with managing Surfmark’s presence on social platforms:Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and the Surfmark blog
Act as ambassador and liaison for Surfmark with online community as well as student bodies.
Build and foster the Surfmark community of users
Leverage social media and other online tools to launch guerilla-marketing campaigns and generate buzz andtraction.
Monitor activity across various social media platforms and compile analytics
Support design and execution of marketing strategies and programs
Conduct research related to social media marketing strategies andthe competitive landscape
Support the customer service and customer experience initiatives
Stay up to date on startup & technology news, and help share what you learn with our team
Interested and engaged in the latest social media and technology trends
An innovative and creative self-starter who has superior communication and writing skills
Flexible and interested in enhancing his/her business development, entrepreneurship and marketing skills.
