What You’ll Do
As the social media intern for Work4 Labs, you’ll be responsible for guiding our company to world...er, social domination. With a sense of humor, an ability to learn on the fly, and a good understanding of startup culture, B2B relationships, and social media marketing, you will spend your days managing our blog, focusing on community management, and helping our social recruiting solution deliver on the “social.”
You will work for 5 hours on 3 days each week (for a total of 15 hours--so sayeth our calculator app!) in our San Francisco office for a year round internship. You will be a part of the marketing team, working closely with the copy writer, graphic designer, and events coordinator.
Your mission is to help us build a better business presence in the tech, HR/recruiting, and business world, as well as help us forge relationships with job seekers and job finders who want to find a new way to connect to jobs. With a unique blend of thought leadership, business savvy, and shameless self promotion, the content you discover and share, and the business connections you help us make and foster, will bring Work4 Labs to the forefront of the social media sphere.

You are either an aspiring journalist, social media marketer, or marketing/advertising extraordinare. You keep active social profiles across a multitude platforms, and you understand the importance of brand management and a consistent voice. You work well on a team (generic, we know--but important nonetheless!), but you can also take the lead and manage your own initiatives.
You understand that there’s more to social media than conversation when it comes to promoting business. You have experience with and ideas about promoting brands while widening their sales funnels--bonus points if you have experience with lead generation, SEO, HTML, or social media management applications.
