Fancy the chance to take your social analytics skills and put them to good use on some incredible celebrity clients and global brands? theAudience, a celeb-driven social media start up, is looking for a Social Media Platform Analyst to help with producing compelling and insightful reports and recommendations for our amazing clients.

theAudience was born in LA in 2011 as a partnership between Ari Emmanuel, Sean Parker and Oliver Luckett. We look after some of the world’s biggest stars, from global A-list actors, actresses and music artists to cool street artists whose work you can spot all over London (and the world!). We also work with global household-name brands, providing them with consultancy, content and sponsorship opportunities. Working as a team with these cool clients, we create and curate incredible content to post across a plethora of social media sites on their behalf. Backing up the content we create is a highly intelligent platform that allows us to see what is working and what’s not – meaning we can always come up with content tailored exactly to each client’s specific goals and needs. All our work is based on the insights and analytics we can draw from the platform, so we know exactly what is going to work for their future campaigns.

We’re growing rapidly, and as part of our expansion we need a Social Media Platform Analyst to come in and work in our Media Planning and Analytics team.

The Social Media Platform Analyst will be ultimately responsible for:

➢ Conducting analysis of social accounts and campaigns across Facebook, YouTube and Twitter
➢ Executing client reporting on behalf of the various client teams
➢ Identifying actionable insights and recommendations for various social media platforms
➢ Performing social media, demographic and industry vertical research and analysis, supporting business development proposals

In order to do this role well, you will need to have proven experience in a data-driven analyst position – ideally within social/media/entertainment, but other great experience will be considered. You need to be results-driven, with great organization skills and attention to detail.

You ideally need to have a passion for social media, and the ability to work in a very dynamic team, and in a start-up environment – pitching in with ad hoc projects where needed and generally enthusiastic and ambitious with your career.

A degree in something stats based is essential (so Maths, Stats, Computer Science, Finance/Economics and the like) alongside great Excel and Powerpoint/Keynote skills.
