Social TV Intern

Overview
Bites is seeking experts in sports, celebrity news, pop culture, or reality television to serve as Fall Interns. This internship is ideal for creative undergraduate students with a deep interest in sports, television, or pop culture who plan to pursue careers in media, new media, sports, entertainment, television, journalism, communications, mobile technology, social TV, or marketing.

We are looking for TV, sports, celebrity and pop culture experts…being a big fan is great, but not enough for this position. Interns will be expected to blend humor and pop culture into their work. This internship is a fall position open to all undergraduate students studying in the United States. Interns will be expected to work from home or from school. Time commitment: 5-20 hours per week. Openings filled on a rolling basis.
Responsibilities
Producing the interactive content that appears on our platform
Leading outreach to bloggers and journalists
Managing social media efforts
Skills
Extremely deep passion and knowledge in at least one televised sports league, celebrity news, reality TV, or another area of pop culture.
Humor, creativity, and quick wit
Excellent writing skills - grammar, spelling, and creativity
Excellent research skills
Ideal if you regularly follow blogs, news, social discussions, or even fantasy sports that keep you up to date on your area of expertise.
Must own a computer and have access to internet and cable television.
Education
College students who are interested in sports or pop culture journalism
