Overview
Usplus.com is a Social Network + Community + Common Interests site in need of an experienced coder/geek with passion to be involved in the final stretch of building out our new website.
We’re in the hunt for a PHP developer with Zend Framework experience who has an initial block of time available for a project that has real ongoing potential. Could suit someone between contracts.
Success with this first project would lead to involvement in new projects and a full-time position. We welcome experience, a willingness to participate, and initiative.
Our team is based in New Zealand (Auckland) and New York City.

Responsibilities
Make changes to existing development website and some third party modules.
Commit to a set block of time for initial project completion.
Be a team player.
Experience
A capable, motivated person with relevant PHP development and problem solving experience.
Track record of effective project completion.
Possible opportunity for graduate to prove their skill.
Skills
High level PHP (or other modern object oriented programming experience)
Development experience (MVC / ZEND / LAMP)
High level MySQL
Proficient with HTML/JavaScript/CSS, XML/AJAX
Good communication
Deadline driven
Web savvy individual
Education
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
Compensation
As we are operating on lean startup budget with limited funding, we can only offer equity at this time.
