LogicTree is looked for a Software Architect to join our core-team at our newly opened Denver, CO office. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with advanced and innovative product and system development being your main focus. A strong candidate for this position will have experience managing projects, will be knowledgeable in the implementation of SOA and integrating overall business strategy with appropriate technology capabilities, as well as excellent communication skills.

Define technical solutions for new markets using existing LogicTree products and FOSS components
Provide architectural oversight and guidance for projects. Participate on and/or lead a team designing, documenting, developing, testing and implementing software programs
Make recommendations on transportation related applications and /or custom solutions which include a number of technologies spanning various transportation disciplines to meet or exceed customer requirements
Identify technology changes or opportunities that can improve efficiency and performance of our products and its impact on subsequent processes
Assist teams that may need additional help to address unforeseen delays or technical challenges
Participate in review board charged with adoption of new methods and tools
The position requires at least 10 years of experience in the IT field or in a related area. You must have in-depth knowledge of system architecture and software engineering and be able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Knowledge of and experience with architectural frameworks and technologies like Spring Framework, Hibernate, SOA, Web 2.0, SQL, etc.
Extensive experience with IVR
Experience with Multi-Channel Communication Platforms that includes voice, web, SMS, and mobile
Experience with transit and infrastructure applications
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Practical experience with software engineering best-practices including object oriented design and agile development methodologies
Proven planning, organization coaching, and conflict management skills
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities
Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours
Excellent English oral and written communication skills
A results oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, information, system engineering, technical management or related field or a combination of related experience and education (master’s degree preferred)
