Overview
We are an early stage start-up with ambitions goals that currently counts two people. We are both computer science graduates who recently received initial seed funding from the CEO and founder of TechTarget (a NASDAQ publicly traded company) after taking first place at BCVC-- a prestigious venture competition.
Responsibilities
Develop new key features for large scale, highly available web and mobile applications.
Optimize features for performance and stability.
Experience
Solid Experience with at least one of the following: Java, C, Python
Great SQL skills, including complex queries and optimization.
Working knowledge of dealing with open source frameworks
UI skills a plus
We don't expect you to know every different technology. What we want is raw talent, someone who just gets how to write large pieces of code, and loves doing it.
Skills
Smart, self motivated individual who loves coding and is looking to work in a dynamic environment.
You fairly familiar with development using Java, C/C++, and object-oriented design.
You can download a piece of open source software and compile it on different flavors of Linux.
You worked with Relational Data Bases and know SQL off the top of your head.
You are excited to learn new languages/technologies.
You know how to make things work and are not discouraged by a bunch of compiler errors.
We dont expect you to have to much experience but we do expect you to learn quickly and be a part of the team.
