Overview
Boston Health Economics, Inc. (BHE) is a small outcomes research organization founded in 1996 that specializes in economic evaluations of medical technologies. Our software group develops custom solutions and products for pharmaceutical companies and health plans. We also build internal tools and manage the IT infrastructure for the company.
Responsibilities
Build frontends for our custom solutions and products
Work on backend infrastructure (domain-specific code after learning about health economics)
Add new features to our website
IT tasks (troubleshoot employee issues, monitor health of our systems, run weekly off-site backup, etc.)
Experience
2-3 years of experience writing production-quality code
Skills
Proficiency in a statically-typed language
Proficiency in a scripting language
SQL
High-level understanding of HTTP and REST
Education
Bachelors in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or similar
