Responsibilities
Scale processes and systems from thousands to millions of users
Contribute to rapid brainstorming, designing and developing of prototypes
Work with the team to test, build and iterate on a daily basis
Integrate product and research engineering work into the product
Experience
Extraordinary software engineering talent
Comfortable with Javascript, Ruby, and Python, or willing to learn
Have the ability to learn quickly and the passion to teach others what you know
Experience with web applications, distributed systems and databases
Experience with information retrieval systems such as Hadoop/MapReduce, Solr/Lucene, HDFS/Cassandra
Education
B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent
