Chomp is building a social app discovery engine to help people find the apps they’re looking for.
We're seeking to disrupt the search space and lead the way in how people find apps by applying topic modeling to search and recommendations.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend code
Work collaboratively with other developers and the product team to define features and technical design
Skills
Lots of experience with PHP, MySQL and memcache. Experience with Code Igniter is a plus
Looks for the smart solution to problems rather than diving in with the first answer
Actively wants to unit test
Any of the following is an added bonus:
Strong Python or Java skills
Experience with Solr and/or Lucene
Likes to dabble in the operational side of things
