Overview
As a mobile apps software engineer at Urban Compass you will a member of a an engineering team that creates robust high-volume production applications and develops prototypes quickly. You will also develop web applications using Java.
Responsibilities
Work with other engineering team members to create robust high-volume production applications and quickly develop protypes
Develop web obligations using Java
Experience
AJAX/HTML/CSS experience and an interest in user interface design (required)
Web application development experience (required)
Experience with Embedded systems, mobile apps (Android and iOS) and mobile optimized websites (required)
Experience using third party libraries for Android and/or iOS (desired)
Development experience in server-side technologies such as C/C++ and/or Java (desired)
Significant experience developing user-facing software (desired)
Experience working on cross-browser platforms (desired)
Knowledge of UI frameworks such as XUL, Flex, and XAML (desired)
Skills
Object-oriented JavaScript skills
Education
BS degree in Computer Science or related field (required)
Masters or PhD in Computer Science or related field (desired)
Masters or PhD in Computer Science or related field (desired)
