The Software Engineer will be primarily responsible for developing RedMart’s proprietary e-commerce platform and will report directly to the CTO.
Write maintainable code, iteratively
Deploy, monitor and maintain code
Find and fix any performance bottlenecks
Suggest and implement process improvements
Test every piece of code delivered
Maintain existing PHP-based e-commerce platform
At least 3-5 years hands on experience with Java/PHP frameworks
Good understanding of MySQL and SQL
Good understanding of HTML/CSS/JS
Knowledge of CSS/JS frameworks
Experience with tools and technologies used to test and debug web apps
Knowledge of RESTful API implementation
Knowledge of SCMs like Git / SVN
Knowledge of CI and deployment tools
Knowledge of Python and/or Ruby (for automation purposes)
A keen follower of the latest trends in technology in the ever-changing tech landscape
Only candidates already in Singapore with valid pass need apply
E-commerce or Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience
Knowledge of third-party APIs from Facebook, Twitter, Google, Paypal, etc.
