San Diego-based SweetLabs develops Pokki, a new HTML5 application platform for Windows and Mac desktops. We’re looking for a talented senior-level Win32/C++ engineer to join our small remote team in Vancouver, where most of the Windows client development takes place. This is a long-term contract position.


What you’ll be doing:

Designing and developing new features in the Pokki desktop client
Contributing to overall product architecture
Working closely with San Diego-based teams—product management, QA, server development
Occasionally traveling to sunny SoCal for facetime, foosball tournaments and the Christmas party


Who you are:

Proficient and disciplined C++ developer with strong OO skills
Confident, easygoing, independently motivated and productive
Deep knowledge of Windows development via the Win32 API
Proven experience developing complex desktop applications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience at the school of hard knocks
Bonus: Experience with web app development
Bonus: Experience with the Chromium codebase
Someone with excellent references to provide
