Software Engineering Internship

Overview
We’re a fast growing startup with a big vision and we’re looking for a paid full-time summer engineering intern who wants to join a small team and make a big impact on one of the biggest day of people’s lives.

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP:

This is a paid summer internship (12-18 weeks). The intern is expected to work in the office full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship period; no telecommuting please!

You’ll be working on solving many pain points for those about to get hitched. Approximately 40,000 couples tie the knot every week. You’ll be working on a product making a huge impact on one of the most important days in a person's life.

Responsibilities
Based on your skill set and interests, we’d have you working on complex problems either in Rails, Android, or iOS. You’d be learning quickly, pushing the limits of your current programming knowledge, and contributing to a real product that impacts engaged couples every day.
Skills
Have a solid foundation in CS, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
Experience in Ruby on Rails is a plus
Must have knowledge on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/JQuery
Knowledge and experience on using open source code/framework
Ability to think from a user/customer’s perspective and to appreciate design details
Self-motivated, disciplined, and enthusiastic about his/her work
Able to quickly prototype and iterate
A team player, with the ability collaborate with other team members and deliver on project timelines
Education
Working towards (or graduated with) a degree in Computer Science.
