How would you like to play a key role on a small team of dedicated software testers? As a Veson Nautical Software Test Engineer you will help ensure product quality and customer satisfaction for the world’s leading developer of commercial maritime shipping software.

You’ll work as an equal partner with developers and product managers, focusing on Veson Nautical's traditional client/server Windows application, IMOS, and growing SaaS product, Veslink. As part of the team, you'll be empowered to use a variety of techniques to create and execute powerful tests that solve a broad spectrum of issues. Veson Nautical currently uses Python or C# to write tools and tests, but QA team members are also encouraged to explore and implement the best tools for the job.

We are currently seeking candidates at all levels of experience, who:
Have a passion for quality
Love a good puzzle and enjoy troubleshooting complex problems
Can advocate for software change
Have strong written and oral communication skills
Are able to conduct ad-hoc or exploratory testing with thin documentation
Want to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
Have a proactive and positive approach to work
Ideally you'll also have:
Familiarity with programming, especially practical experience in Python or C#
Relational database knowledge, especially Microsoft SQL Server
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, another technical field, or equivalent experience
Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience
