We are looking for a Test Lead with a background in driving and owning the testing of software products. Reporting to the CTO, this person will head up all QA efforts including responsibility for all aspects of the testing lifecycle and management of a small team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to oversee a small but critical function, while also still keeping their hands in the day-to-day technical parts of testing.

Responsibilities
Own testing of our product from end to end, including owning and writing test plans and test cases
Write quality bug reports and drive them to resolution
Define and carry out procedures that meet internal and end-user requirements
Own resource allocation of test team
Work with development team throughout the entire product cycle
Oversee in-house ad hoc usability studies
Hire, manage and develop small team of testers
Experience
Minimum 3 years work experience in software testing
Experience leading or mentoring junior testers
Ability to work independently and own an area of responsibility
Ability to work in fast-paced environment with a ‘get things done” attitude
Solid understanding of software development life cycle and software quality process
Solid understanding of client/server, web and/or CRM applications
Experience with Bugzilla and/or Testopia a plus
Experience with scripting, especially JavaScript, a plus
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
