Overview
We are seeking a self-directed, high energy, relationship-driven sales person to lead our efforts selling large commercial and industrial solar energy projects. Successful person will be able to communicate and close deals with C-suite executives. Candidate will be expected to very quickly be capable of speaking fluently in the various languages involved in selling a solar project. Base knowledge of finance, energy technology, and operations is critical. Within a few weeks, manager should be engaging in high potential sales meetings. Position will involve frequent day trips out to customer sites.
Responsibilities
Manager will be the main team member responsible for selling solar power purchase agreements in our industrial business segment
Manager will generate leads, approach, and build relationships with industrial companies in New Jersey (PSE&G service territory) and close deals with support from company leadership team and key partners
Manager must be goal oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, competitive, thorough, and tenacious
Manager must be able to work independently but within a team environment
Travel required to execute meetings
Experience
Proven ability to sell large deals and consistently exceed multi-million dollar quotas.
Experience working with top executives on strategic board-level initiatives
Previous experience in renewable energy, and particularly solar, preferred
Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with web-based CRM tools (we use Zoho, but experience with another tool will do)
Familiarity with lead generation tools

Education
At least bachelors degree with strong academic record
Compensation
Commensurate with experience, heavily commission-based
