Overview
We are looking for an experienced Flex engineer, who can support our development, improve the existing code base, and develop new features. See http://www.rrripple.com/app4
Responsibilities
Develop and enhance various parts of our Flex-based web application
Help define and write detailed functional specifications
Unit testing and code optimization
Support overall development of our system
Keep pace with the latest trends and design technology
Other related work as directed
Experience
3+ years Flex/Flash development
Very detail-oriented GUI development
Experience with OOAD and basic design patterns
Experience with XML
Experience with JavaScript
Experience with Linux, Bash, and SVN (or similar)
Experience with performance optimization
Knowledge about unit tests, web frameworks, and design patterns
Knowledge about security and scalability
Knowledge about digital media
Skills
Must-have development skills: Flex 4, ActionScript 3, MXML, and XML.
Nice to have development skills: Photoshop, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS, PHP, and SQL.
Detail-oriented and well-organized
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadline
Strong analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Clear verbal and written communication skills, and team player
Flexibility to work overtime
Education
Master Software Engineering or similar.
