Overview
Develop / enhance Linux system components for the Axcient appliance application. Work with Product Management to understand product requirements.
Experience
Debug and enhance Linux system utilities.
Linux Kernel debugging and enhancement
Debug complex Windows networking issues.
Evaluate new Linux open source projects for use with the Axcient appliance.
Design and Develop linux based software for our next generation product.
Required Technology Skills
Excellent C programming skills
Shell / Bash scripting experience
Windows/Linux networking experience (TCP, Samba, CIFS)
Skills
Desired Technology Skills
Building appliance / embedded software solutions
Building enterprise-class products
Experience with virtualization products, Xen, Vmware etc.
Filesystem performance / deduplication
5-10 years programming experience. Preferably in small company or start-up environments.
Education
· BS in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent experience
