This leader will have a proven track record in setting a vision for great customer experiences, inspiring others to get behind the vision, and ultimately delivering products and services that are known for their experience and ease of use. You will bring deep knowledge of innovation, customer research, ideation, storytelling, prototyping, design frameworks, concept visualization, etc and will inspire the Central Desktop team to produce great products. In addition, you will have a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of business leaders, technology leaders, product marketing, customer care and other key leaders to develop large growth businesses.
Manage the entire life cycle of User Experience design
Develop & institute streamlined, high quality user-centered design standards and processes.
Create prototypes to demonstrate usability & User Interface enhancements.
Design & direct primary user research to determine customer experience needs for our products.
Ensure close collaboration with Product Management, Development and multidisciplinary teams to implement quality interfaces.
Review requirements and provide time estimates on the design and implementation of features.
5+ years hands-on experience in a senior software user experience role.
Track record of delivering SAAS software offerings at scale
A first-class UI/UX design portfolio demonstrating your design experience.
Experience leading change and inspiring teams with an innovative future vision for customers.
Bachelors degree in human factors, HCI, information design, industrial design, or related discipline.
Excellent people leadership, creative, and analytical skills.
Ability to work with design team in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
Strong knowledge of web application design and usability principles, issues, and techniques.
Ability to analyze customer needs and define strategies for meeting them.
Experience creating wireframes and prototypes.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to keep abreast of innovative design trends and technologies.
