The Sr. Marketing Manager/Community will expand MerchantCircle’s national community of merchants by engaging external stakeholders and industry thought leaders and by developing and implementing programs that increase merchant engagement. The Sr. Marketing Manager-Community will also be tasked with engaging our merchant base to identify opportunities to increase their use of our local business marketing tools.
S/he will be responsible for customer service and will develop special programs that engage the merchant community to improve customer support content, scale MC’s customer support services and nurture loyalty and engagement amongst MerchantCircle members. The Sr. Marketing Manager-Community will also manage a small team.
At least 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in marketing or related field.
Experience working with and building relationships with the blogging community and other external influencers.
Flexibility and willingness to work on a variety of projects and multi-task.
Ability to work cross-functionally.
Exceptional verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
BA/BS degree preferred
