Overview
The perfect candidate is proficient in iPhone/iOS development with the desire to become proficient with Android development. The most important qualities we are looking for, outside of iPhone/iOS skills, is the desire to grow, work with great people, and build awesome products.
Responsibilities
This developer role is responsible for, all things mobile. We run on Ruby, we have an iPhone app and we are looking to scale - BIG TIME.
Experience
7+ years of overall software/application development
3+ years of demonstrated experience delivering high-quality applications in the mobile (Apple/Android) space.
Expert on Objective C, iPhone SDK (Xcode), Cocoa, w/ a portfolio of native mobile apps on iPhone
Proven aptitude developing applications leveraging XML/JSON based RESTful/SOAP APIs
Skills
iOS development skills is a must
Must be able to communicate technical needs, constraints and necessary pivots to team on regular basis
Problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot is imperative
Must be comfortable creating something that has not been done before
Must be keen on testing i
Must have the ability to make rational business decisions within the confines of our technology
Expertise in Amazon cloud service
Design experience would be a bonus
Strong understanding of the server side software, scalability, performance and reliability aspects
Education
College education required.
