Overview
This is an outstanding full-time Research Associate position with a top LA Based Biotechnology company.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for performing novel mammalian cell culture development technologies including shake flask operations, media optimization, cell banking, and bioreactor operations. You will also be responsible for process scale-up and technology transfer to the pilot plant.
Experience
2+ years of BioPharma, BioPharmaceutical, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry experience.
Skills
Strong understanding of mammalian cellular physiology and mammalian expression systems.
Expertise working with a variety of cell lines and mammalian expression systems including CHO and NS0.
Hands-on experience working with bioreactors and fermentors.
Education
BS or MS degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related Scientific/Engineering field.
