The desktop client team is looking for a motivated software engineer to help us create innovative user-facing desktop client applications running under Windows and Mac OS X. You need a firm foundation in computer science, a drive to create and continually improve products, and the motivation to find elegant solutions to hard problems. In this position, you will be responsible for developing our flagship products: innovative applications and services to manage digital media (files, photos, videos, music, documents, contacts, etc.) across a variety of devices and destinations. To do this, you’ll need a deep understanding of algorithms, data structures and large systems design. You’ll also need to learn quickly and think creatively about creating a delightful user experience.

Extensive experience programming in C/C++
Experience with Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux/UNIX desktop environments.
Strong object-oriented design and analysis, and user interface design and implementation skills.
Experience with developing multi-threaded applications, network programming, and designing/developing large software systems.
1+ years of Mac OS X development experience
Experience programming with Carbon or Cocoa/Objective C
Experience programming with Qt
In-depth knowledge of the Win32 SDK
Experience with UI and interaction design
Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time
Ability to work directly with QA, Product Management and marketing teams
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
