Overview
Trapit (http://trap.it) is looking for a talented Senior iOS Developer to join us in extending our unique content discovery and personalization platform to iOS devices and beyond. You'll work closely with product, design and other developers on brand new products and features, and to produce compelling, responsive and user-friendly experiences. You will play a critical role in enabling Trapit's core technology to blossom in the hands of our users and become a mandatory part of their daily routines.
Responsibilities
Maintain and extend existing native iPad application -- launching in July
Build, maintain and extend forthcoming native iPhone application
Prototype new ideas and explore new technologies that are at the forefront of mobile technology
Be our knowledge leader in iOS app development
Provide input to redesign and development of web application
Collaborate across disciplines with team members representing product, design, and development
Possess strong understanding of object-oriented design and data structures, and algorithm design
Enjoy working in a fast-paced development environment, and with Agile, SCRUM-based processes
Be a team player who is self-motivated and well-organized with exceptional problem-solving skills
Skills
Experience building complex iOS Applications that have been successfully delivered to customers
Extensive knowledge of Objective-C and Cocoa Touch
Ability to work with web services on the iOS platform (consuming REST APIs)
Experience with integrating third-party libraries such as Flurry, Facebook Connect, etc.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software on committed deadlines
Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail
5+ years' software development experience in a professional environment
Experience with git and github (nice to have)
Experience with HTML5, CSS, Javascript (nice to have)
