Overview
This position will report to the Manager of QA, and provide technical leadership and hands-on testing of our product. The ideal candidate will have an education in computer science or a related field. She/he will have a track record of success in authoring and testing of test cases and test plans. We are looking for an individual responsible for testing DynamicOps application that manages IT virtualization infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Interface with lab manager to build and configure complex test configurations
Author test cases and test plans
Execute test cases
Defect submission/verification
Review technical design documents (design specifications and functional specifications)
Perform functional, regression and performance tests
Make recommendations on methodologies and approaches to continuously improve overall product quality
Skills
Understanding of enterprise IT operations. Candidate must be proficient installing, configuring, and working within Windows and Linux distributions.
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, IIS and SQL.
Experience with virtualization products and their associated tools and management applications, such as VMware ESX, XEN, VDI, Microsoft Hyper-V, are desired.
Experience with Storage Area Network (SAN), network management and monitoring tools such as SysLog, SNMP , WireShark etc.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
A self-starter who is enthusiastic about working for a start-up company
Capable of working with minimum supervision. Able to complete projects on time and effectively manage your own deliverables and schedules and take on a lead role.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience in Information Technology or related disciplines
