Overview
We're looking a systems admin to join our team in San Francisco.

Things that will get you noticed:
- Previous startup experience
- Experience with Erlang, eJabberd, Lucene, Amazon AWS, XMPP, distributed key-value/nosql storages (CouchDB, HBase or Project Voldemort), persistent/distributed queues (Thrift/RabbitMQ)

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for setting up and deploying servers for various purposes
Making sure all services are up and responding to any service interruptions
Work with the development team to make sure services can scale with demand
This position is more than just a systems admin, but also provide a key role in the design and scaling of the infrastructure
Deploying and maintaining monitoring services to make sure essential services are working properly
Experience
Linux experience, you should be extremely comfortable working in a linux environment
Experience with setting up and maintaining Lighttpd, MySQL, HAProxy, Squid, Cacti, Splunk
Good knowledge of python
Experience with Amazon Web Services, including EC2, S3, SQS
Adiitional experience with EJabberd, RabbitMQ, CouchDB is a big plus
Education
BA or BS in computer science or related field
