Join a team building a novel wireless backhaul radio system that delivers drastic increases in non-line-of-sight range, capacity, and spectral efficiency over any industry alternative. You will work with the system architects to design and implement the systems software for our backhaul radio system.
Design and implement the software architecture of a real-time embedded backhaul platform.
Implement device drivers on embedded ARM and/or x86 platforms.
Implement and optimize lightweight virtualization enabling highly reliable operation, fault isolation, zero-downtime software upgrades.
Work with hardware and RF teams for system integration
At least 3 years experience in C/C++ and network programming
Kernel and device driver development in UNIX/Linux, kernel debugging
Also preferred: Knowledge of wireless protocols - 802.16 (WiMAX), LTE
Deep understanding of UNIX-style operating systems
Scripting languages (Python, bash, etc)
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Team player, motivated, self-starter
Also preferred: Familiarity with communication buses (PCIe, SPI, UART) and HW debuggers, in-circuit emulators
Also preferred: Version control systems such as Git/SVN and issue tracking systems, wiki-based documentation (Google docs, Trac, TWiki)
MS equivalent, PhD preferred in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
