Overview
We are two young, creative guys seeking a mobile app hacker who wants to build the next big thing. We’ve designed and prototyped an app, but we need that third Co-Founder who can bring our company to the next level.
We’re looking for a primary, lead developer who is exceptional at back and front-end development. He/she should be energetic, collaborative, passionate about making disruptive products, and between the ages of 18 and 26. If you’re actively earning or have earned a BS in computer science or a related degree that’s a plus, but honestly, it’s no big deal as long you can program quickly, efficiently, and effectively.
As we mentioned, we’re looking for a Co-Founder, so generous equity compensation will be available to the right person. Responsibilities
Define the technical development strategy
Design and build the database and application architecture
Manage the engineering product plans, schedule, backlog and resources effectively
Direct, deliver and continuously improve the company’s platform services
Experience
Extremely competent web/mobile developer, comfortable in multiple languages, frameworks, and environments
Experience with scaling systems to >100K users
3-5 years of coding and code review
Proven track record / portfolio of work
Previous social network application development (not required but a huge plus)
Worked in startup before (not required but a huge plus)
Skills
Advanced understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript
Enthusiastic, intensely hard-working, self-starter, and team player
High degree of integrity, common sense, and sound judgment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to optimize server load and architecture
Proficiency in Objective-C or Java for future mobile app development (not required but a huge plus)
Graphic design skills (not required but a huge plus)
