Overview

Early stage gaming startup is looking for a technology leader to manage the development team and provide informed solutions to interesting problems. This person would be hands-on in a small team environment.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science or Engineering, with a Master’s strongly preferred
• 5+ years’ professional experience, with 8+ strongly preferred
• Experience at another tech startup as a lead developer/engineer
• Relatively recent programming background in one or more of these technologies: Java, MySQL, PHP, flash
• Strong command of multiple programming languages
• Experience developing for and administering Amazon Web Services, Wordpress and a connection to Facebook
• Understands start-up culture and product launch; Ability to work in a small team environment
• Must be a self-starter (have some angst!); this person will be expected to take initiative to identify problems and provide solutions without being prodded
• Must have strong communication skills
• Experience with game server software is a plus

Compensation

Up to $120k plus equity
