The AppNexus Apps Marketplace is a strategic initiative for AppNexus and a transformative program for the ad technology ecosystem. The Technical Account Manager (TAM) for Apps is responsible for servicing clients and partners that develop Apps on the AppNexus platform. The TAM for Apps works closely with business counterparts in the Strategic Partnerships group in onboarding and supporting Apps developers.
The mandate of this role is to translate business objectives into technical solutions, evangelize development best practices, and troubleshoot issues in order to drive the success of Apps developers.
This role is perfect for someone who has 2-5 years of work experience, has strong communication skills, and loves servicing customers and solving technical problems.

Introduction to AppNexus Apps
Become an expert in the AppNexus platform and the display advertising domain generally
Work with the Strategic Partnerships group to qualify projects for the AppNexus Apps program
Consult with and train customers and partners who are building AppNexus Apps
Troubleshoot integration issues; willing to get hands dirty
Work with Product Management to bring the AppNexus platform to life for potential Apps developers
Help to shape integration processes and workflow for maximum scalability
Provide input to Technical Documentation for development of Apps developer training material, customer-facing assets, and internal resources
Passionate about working in an extremely fast-paced, demanding, and fluid start-up environment
Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience working with or ability to learn APIs a must, with RESTful a plus
Experience evangelizing and participating in developer communities a plus
Familiarity with online media buying and selling, advertising technology solutions, and ad network business models a plus
Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline from a top-tier school
