Overview
As a Technical Marketing Manager at Jive Software, you will be on the front lines of the Social Business revolution. You will work with the Product Marketing team to position Jive products and services, based on a keen understanding of market needs and competitive dynamics. You will drive the creation of highly-polished sales demos, help build and maintain demo systems, analyze competitors, and assist in sales engagements.
Responsibilities
Develop creative, articulate, influential, and engaging marketing material to help sales teams achieve success.
You will work closely with Jive business leaders to translate technical concepts and product capabilities to business needs and benefits with ease.
Utilize common web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, REST) to create world class demos.
Use Photoshop and other graphics tools to create the polish and “wow” factor.
Get inside the mind of the customer to solve business problems using social software.
Thrive in a demanding, fast-paced startup environment where priorities change, passion is a must and open, honest feedback is your life source.
Travel (up to 40%). You will spend time working directly with customers, prospects, and sales teams to understand their needs.
Experience
2+ years of directly related work experience.
Skills
You’ve got technical chops (HTML, CSS, Javascript, REST) but have the soul and eye of a marketer.
You are driven to win, hate to lose, and leave everything on the court.
You are honest, direct, and professional. You are ambitious, but you know how to earn your opportunities, not create them.
Education
BA or BS in Marketing or a related field.
