Technical Solution Sales

We are seeking an experienced sales professional committed to helping L4 Networks achieve our growth plans. The technical sales professional has a the right balance of technical acumen selling experience. The technical sales professional must be a results oriented and self-motivated individual who can market informational technology products, solutions, technical consulting services and ongoing managed services solutions to small and medium sized companies.

You must be passionate about technology and selling and directly interacting with customers. This individual must be capable of developing and driving new business from cold call to close and will be responsible for attaining his/her sales quota objectives. This position will have responsibility for revenue generation from new business generation and incremental business from existing customers.

You will be the vital connection between the company and our customers, as a member of our talented sales team you will be expected to do the following:
Compiles lists of prospective clients for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, and other sources.
Supplies data describing new products to develop sales approach.
Travels through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective clients to solicit orders, or talks with clients by phone.
Advises clients of equipment for given needs based on technical knowledge of products
Displays or demonstrates product, using samples, catalogs, etc.
Quotes products, installation and services as well as and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
Estimates date of delivery/installation to client based on knowledge of manufacturers and own firm's service schedules.
Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
Enters new client data and other sales data for current clients into company data base.
Investigates and resolves client problems with deliveries and other issues
Attends trade shows as needed
Occasional travel and overtime required.
Must have a “hunter” approach and have the ability to prospect, develop and navigate effectively through the sales process to close new business.
Bright, energetic and friendly personality a must
Sufficient engineering or technical knowledge to make complex engineering and economic decisions to convince potential buyers of the practical value of the product or service
Must have data networking sales experience: routers; firewalls; wireless; telecom
Must have server sales experience – server based computing, private cloud systems, desktop & application virtualization
Small - Medium enterprise target markets inclusive of one or more the verticals of education, health, manufacturing, finance, insurance, transportation, government and others.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, CRM experience such as Zoho or Salesforce is preferred
Requires 1-3 years IT sales experience.
Be able to drive own car.
English: Fluent
Previous outside sales experience selling technology products and services
Self starter, solid written and verbal communications
Decision making ability
Solid interpersonal skills
Focus and self control (ability to work in non structured environments)
Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
US citizens or permanent residents
Minimum BS/BA or equivalent degree and experience
BA, BS, MA, MS or equiv
Base plus commission
