Responsibilities
Delivering solutions to both technical and non-technical end users while also supporting a wide range of technologies;
Dealing with both digital native and digital immigrants on blogging content that can create bzz as well as supporting questions/best practices around consumer web applications (Facebook. LinkedIn, MySpace, Twitter, StumbleUpon, digg, etc)
Project management on programming and documentation projects as required. Support Engineers may be required to be on-call on a rotating basis throughout the year.
Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with our fab Development group to resolve more advanced puzzles when necessary;
Resolving escalated customer complaints without the need for team lead intervention;
Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps;
Providing training to customers as needed on new features and product enhancements.
Experience
Client-facing experience is a big plus;
Firm grasp of how the web works, networking, and software products;
Working knowledge of Windows, XP, Vista and general desktop support issues;
Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP and other networking concepts;
Experience with web site development, HTML, and SQL a plus;
CSS and CSS-P Programming, C++ and or Java appreciated.
Skills
HubSpot is seeking a talented, resourceful and good humored Technical Support guru. This is a customer facing role (but mostly on the phone) that will address any and all support requests to do with our Inbound Marketing Software System.
