Overview
Technical evangelists at 10gen take the lead in working with our developer and customer communities.
This is an outward-facing software engineering position covering a diverse range of exciting problems, including core platform engineering, community support, user application development and partner and customer deployment and integration.
The ideal candidate is a person with a background in software engineering that — in addition to leading-edge software development — also enjoys and thrives on public technology communications such as blogging, teaching, mentoring and open-source community participation. Besides internal platform development, the job will include supporting our growing developer community, presenting at user groups and conferences, and working with commercial partners.
The job is based in New York and will require some travel.
