This position is a customer-facing one in which the team member will serve as the main point of contact for Next Great Place’s Vacation Network members as well as its Destination Partner Network. This position will provide on-line and off-line customer and partner service and support to ensure:
1) NGP’s travelers are able to book the best trips possible and receive unparalleled customer service and valuable advice from their Travel Advocate.
2) NGP’s Destination Partners are given advice on how to most effectively prepare Vacation Invitations in response to Vacation Requests.
• This position may require travel, both domestic and global.
This person must possess extraordinary attention to detail as well as interpersonal skills and a passion for serving customers. Additionally, the Travel Advocate will be responsible for managing multiple Vacation Request creation and fulfillment processes simultaneously.
Review incoming Vacation Requests from Vacation Network Members for accuracy / feasibility prior to submission to Destination Partner Network.
Provide Vacation Network Members with advice on their Vacation Requests.
Determine which Destination Partners will receive individual Vacation Requests.
Review incoming Vacation Invitations from Destination Partners.
Provide Destination Partners with advice on their Vacation Invitations.
Select the top three to five Vacation Invitations for submission to the Vacation Network Member.
Review the Vacation Invitations with the Vacation Network Member and provide advice on the pros / cons of each.
Manage the entire Vacation Request and Invitation Process to ensure that all parties adhere to NGP’s timeline.
Requires understanding of the Next Great Place mission and the Travel Advocate position is integral to providing inspired customer service on all occasions.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
