Responsibilities
Wanderfly is about to launch version 2.0. The new site will add social media functions including a recommendation platform for suggesting activities in a new location that will appeal to different types of travelers. Your role is to begin the process of filling the new site with experience recommendations, based on your own travel style and personality.
You'll work closely with our content manager and editor Kerrin Sheldon - as well as our Marketing team - to produce these short recommendations, and you’ll see your work published on the site’s blog within hours of completion. Once the site is live, you will be a recommended curator to Wanderfly's hundreds of thousands of users, allowing you to gather a large following.
Experience
Some professional writing experience is ideal but not required.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in-person, phone, email etc.).
A unique voice and personality. You can be witty, poetic, lighthearted, romantic or edgy. Just don't be boring.
Ability to collaborate in a team environment and quickly execute on ideas.
Experience in travel and other lifestyle categories (food, fashion, design, adventure).
