Funded by the NIH and already implementing the solution in a number of prestigious hospital sites, we are looking for a User Interface Developer to join our team to build intuitive user interfaces for touchscreen tablets and mobile platforms.
Part-time employment for an initial period with the potential to join the company on a longer-term basis.

Front-end development of a touchscreen tablet user interface.
Analyzing user needs to create experiences that enable users to complete tasks easily, quickly, and accurately.
Testing UI design and serving as an informal functional tester for web UI design project.
Conduct ongoing research of web-based user interface development best practices.
Ability to produce site maps, user flows, wireframes, page layouts and User Interface Specification deliverables for hand-off to technology.
Write clean and modular html and css, as well as clean up any non-modular, non-standards-compliant html or css.
Perform prototype testing to validate interface designs with stakeholders and end-users
Proactively identify opportunities to improve the site usability and the overall quality of the design, organization and structure
Apply user-centered design process to efficiently create high quality user experiences
Skills
Qualifications
Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver.
Solid understanding of basic design skills (e.g. typography, color, grids).
Ability to juggle multiple projects and thinking across different products.
Knowledge of usability and coding best practices.
Knowledge of Android. Knowledge of iOS and Windows would be a plus.
Excellent visual and oral/written communication skills.
Strong Attention to detail.
Compensation
Based on experience.
